Saturday Morning Session 7/6
Hey Guys,
Went out this morning back to my old haunt that I fished last Sunday from 5am until 9am. A few showers passed over and thought about packing up but they cleared so decided to stick it out.
Caught 7 smaller ones between 26-31cms for which I got 3 keepers.
Around 6am my Penn Previal gets slammed and is fully buckled over, I grab it and the fish begins to peel a little bit of line, giving some nice tell tale head shakes I'm pretty confident at this stage its a nice snapper and after a few minutes grab my net and one handed land a nice snapper which ended up being 54cms and weighed just under 2.5kg
Wind was fairly blowy and there was a nice size chop, thinking I might head out again tonight if the rain stays away.
Was using Bonito and Salmon fillets for bait.
