just got back from brighton pier only fished for squid first two casts resulted in hook ups but they were very finiky and were just hooked lost them both saw them spit ink. fished the bend on rockwall for a few casts that resulted in nothing and headed back to the first spot i fished just after the sea baths and landed two small one. maybe the ones i dropped earlier? all in all a beautiful morning and unexpected as i didnt think id get any squid at 11.15am. used pink harimitsu jig 3.0

on the way home i stopped past hampton rock groins for a squid but did not produce anything. a few old timers were fishing the end and were catching nice sized gars. makes me want to go back and have a crack.

fished on sunday night too in the afternoon and got 4 small squid on the rockwall bend at around 5.30.
