Was also there last night. Wow it was packed, 150 rods is no exaggeration! But I was also down their on Monday night and man... insane! There must have been 10 or so big reds over 5 or 6 kg while i was there from about 5:30 - 8:30 not to mention the amount of smaller snapper and pinkies! Fished there last night for doughnuts though

Fished the area tuesday and wednesday for some big inner tyre tube donuts.

Where the hell did they go? Maybe its time to wear the metallic armor and go to webbdock. Maybe they are already that far up the bay.

Hi mate, as a Brit living in the next suburb up the bay, Sandringham get in touch nearer the time and I'll give you the heads up. I generally fish off Hampton Pier or Sandringham breakwall and yes... two hook paternoster is usually the go or running leger rig. Also for gars and mullet you can use a normal float rig again with two hooks. Baits are mostly pilchards, bluebait silverfish, whitebait pipis (cockles), chicken breasts and an assortment of soft plastics and hardbodied lures.
