As for distance in the cast 4oz sinkers and cast as far as you can, but like you know with a SW wind they come in real close.

Its as snaggy as all so bring heaps of lead with ya. :thumbsup:

Thanks for the link. Il give these areas a good go in a couple of months, would love to get some big reds of the rocks! BTW I have a big gaff made from a strong pool cleaning pole, what's best off the rocks when it's rough, big gaff or big net?

Yes... My old man fishes it from time to time..

It is very reefy... so bring lots of sinkers... You will get the odd pinky but they head for the reef so you need to crank the handle pretty quick early.

Yea I have fished from the main one and lost 11 sinkers in one session one time lol
