Brighton Pier 31st Jan dawn session

Planning on going early tomorrow morning. Around 6am.

Anything i should be told of? What bait has been hitting hard recently? Wich fish are around biting?

Please give me some tips, Cheers.

Hi yoyo, pinkys and flathead biting at the moment but mainly in choppy conditions. Pilchards and calamari working best for me. Also there have been several reports posted lately about Brighton, you should check them out. :cheers:

High tide at about 6:50 so thats good but it probably won't be very choppy so that's not good but you should still get a bit of action.. Just use a paternoster rig with a size 1/0ish hooks

I had a bit of luck with pinkies on Sunday fishing inside the breakwall, using pilchard pieces on size one circle hooks.
