Yeah the pinkies was on bait. Im pretty crap with lures.
Same thing today aswell gave it another go.

was lazy today so had a fish at 1pm for a couple of hours heaps of small bay trout hitting the soft plastics all were undersize but great fun on light gear

small up to 20cm but fun any plastic that had a silver shine

I reckon I met you on your way back in Dazz, I was with my 4 year old son so we couldn't get out on the rocks. I was chasing squid and flatties on plastics but got nada.

yep that was me given you the heads up about the bay trout/ salmon great work taking your young son out fishing in years to come he will out fish both of us

picked this up this morning 37cm 530grms great fight on light gear 1/8 2/0 jighead squidgy soft plastic heaps of pinkies were caught by the guys useing floats

fished today 10 till 12 casting into the wind heaps of small salmon on soft plastics when not hooked up 4 or 5 salmon were chasing the plastic massive school of bait fish nearby and seagulls it was so much fun for about 45 minutes all salmon caught were thrown back in 1/8 jighead with zman slim swimz the zman copped a hiding but still good as gold
