I usually use a 2/0 or 3/0 gamagatsu hook. Got some nice pinkies in there from time to time as well and find that size is perfect :thumbsup: where are you getting your hooks from mate?

Yea I used to use those years ago but not anymore after I lost a big snapper. The hook bent. They are cheap but the quality isn't great.

Are you talking about hooks? If so gamagatsu, owner and mustad ones are all good mate :thumbsup:

I haven't been targeting them land based for awhile mate. I usually do when the weather gets a bit warmer spearing for them :thumbsup:
