Brighton garfish

Heading out to Brighton pier tonight, does anyone know if there have been any garfish being caught, might give it a go

Think the older regular blokes were fishing for them last night around the bus shelter...
To many boats kayak, helicopter , catch a fish,catch a fish

I haven't fished for them from there for awhile but I used to do alright a bit up from the sheltered spot but just before the rocks start :) good luck mate.

cheers mate, i used to get them half way along the pier opposite the shelters, but haven't fished for them in over ten years

Frankston and seaford are probably better choice for gars atm

Get kgw of Brighton ?..on the bend were i got squid thought my good spot to try in warmer months.
Also where you catch fresh squid at brighton ,do you try at same for spot snapper...I moved to around end of rAilling further up breakwall ..
