Brighton area 22/03

Post by Freakazoid » Mon Mar 23, 2015 4:37 pm

Hey all,
Fished around Brighton yesterday with some mates in the boat, just drifting a few hundred m's out. What a beautiful day!!
Bagged out on Flatties with little trouble. They went really nuts just after low tide and continued all the way through until the wind picked up. No sign of any other fish in the area & the sounder was uneventful.
Best baits were pillies & squid, and multiple plastics. Fish ranged between just on legal and 40+cm.

And I'm pleased to say my better half finally caught a fish (several in the end) on plastics after around a year of trying to teach her on the pier..usually ending up in frustration and chain smoking on her part lol :icon_lolz: So she was absolutely stoked, and I felt proud as punch haha
Had a decent feed and more in the freezer.
