Haha well I did lose one sinker :/ but I seemed to be able to keep the jigs above the weed for the most part bar a few close calls. Similar to fishing black rock, I always expect to lose soooomething there. Didn't notice a smell tho which is a bonus haha

Damn I wish I'd seen that mate..I'd have been crying with laughter..Basti wrote:I am not a guy to be afraid of bugs generally but one day i felt a tickle on my neck as i started home from work. looked in the mirror and it was a smallish huntsman making its way up to my face. How i didn't crash I don't know but pulled over and calmly got out of the car and proceeded to freak out on the side of the road

Re: Brighton 12/11
haha managed not to squeal (very manly yelling, trust me  ) and also managed not to kill the thing. I had to close one eye by the time i found space to stop and had to move slow in order not to spook it into running somewhere worse.

Sucker for punishment... Went back again tonight. Another squid and some micro pinkie action. I also need a minute silence because the über jig finally met it's fate with a snag I think I'll return to my usual haunts now lol
