Friday night 24-10-14 Landbased Pinky Bream
Hi all, will keep it brief. Went for a fish last night at a not so secret spot. Was calm to start, then blew up to 25knots SW around sunset then calmed again around midnight.Landed a few undersize pinkys (released) taking home 1 Bream 30cm and 1 pinky 34cm. Only used pilchards with hooks 1/0, 2/0 and 3/0. 90% of fishos perched along the inside for protection/most action. Most took off when it got rough. I hung around till after midnight....Cheers....

Hi hornet..got no idea. Wasn't at Brighton for the reason you mentioned. Pic is of Sandy breakwall :lolf: Will probably try Brighton next just to see whats going on with the fence/gate situation. Sandy's been pretty quiet lately with the odd fish caught here and there along the wall. Quiet a few Brighton locals at Sandy the last few weeks. :cheers:hornet wrote:Nice nhillboy, was the gate still locked and you did the Ninja side step or is the gate open to the public now ?

I was at Brighton last weekend and the breakwall looked ok to me, ( I did a sprint from the gate to the end and back )nhillboy wrote:Hi hornet..got no idea. I saw nothing fatal to anglers so I'm at a loss why the gate is not open ! all the rails are intact and the concrete is fine..
