LB snapper, first for season.

Post by nhillboy » Sat Oct 18, 2014 10:11 am

Hi all, had a fish last night even though it was pretty calm. Had small nibbles landing some small 20cm pinkies and 2 flathead mid 30cm. Around 11pm within a minute apart my whole Pilly got whacked for my first of the season snapper. A healthy small fat 44cm fish and George (Brighton Bomber) landing one at 41cm. We were happy to get on the board with a snapper over 40cm, now for a bigger one.

Cheers boys and thanks. Yeah top eating between 40-50cm. Scored some fishing points with the wife giving the Snapper to the in laws to enjoy. Hopefully I'll get another one soon for ourselves.
