Sandy Breakwall 25-06-14

Post by SparkyUK » Thu Jun 26, 2014 11:12 am

Went down to Brighton last night for a fish, But the pier has been closed by the SES du to storm damage. So i decided to give sandy a try. I was hoping for a decent night with the weather, but ended up with 1 pinkie, but 1 is always better than a donut. Met a couple of others there, 1 had never heard of the forums so directed him here, and a group of 3 lads at the start of the breakwall. A good night out of the house and met a few decent people who can ask for more.

Went for a walk down on the front yesterday afternoon. Here's some photos. Sorry about the darkness - used my phone.

North Road Pier has collapsed:

Brighton Pier is closed but there were a couple of guys on the marina and a few nice looking baots being pulled out into the yacht club.

Sandy- the only place you can see water rats, dolphins, millionaires boats, and occasionally people in spandex sipping lattes all within the hour. Think I will head down there tonight.
