I usually wait until the tackle shops have a sale, then buy the gear.

I try to do that when i can.
I checked out rays and anaconda last night in the bargain bins.
And check on the shelves rays wanted 19 bucks and anaconda didnt have a price tag.
i think i saw them for 15 bucks in peninsula total tackle (rosebud) I'll check tonight if i get time.
out of those places they had pretty well run out of lures.
peninsula takle i think had the only brown trout pattern or rainbow.
im after the rainbow trout pattern.

Im heading up to Howqua rive in may, so im trying to prepare little bits and pieces in advance to save cost when the trip comes.
thanks for the reply
cheers cam
