I have one, and I agree. When I compare it to a ci4 stradic or something, its like comparing a sports car to a tractor. Both have their uses. I know I would much prefer the Penn if I was hooked up to a big gummy, but dont even think about using it for casting.

I reckon I could pull up the anchor with the 750 SSM

Anaconda regularly have these for around $80-$100 with a mariner rod. Just need to keep an eye on their catalogues.
