I've found most of Aldi's products to be quite good

I bought a Crane Rod and Reel combo, and it was dynamite value for money. Smooth reel, and good rod.

I have one of their knapsack fishing bags and a couple of other things. The bag is good value and holds plenty of gear (almost too much if you can have too much). Tackle trays and plenty of pockets  cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

I bought some braid from them last year and was quite impressed (still using and thrashing it) Works better than some of the other brands I've bought from Rays and BCF.
I caught my first Sambo last year off the beach on Aldi Braid and a Silver Aldi 60gm Lure.
Darn looks like I'll be trolling their racks this weekend (after fishing)

Their dish washing liquid works just as good as the generic home brew.
