South Channel Gummy sharks

Hey guys, I was hoping to go for some gummy sharks at the south channel in a few weeks, has anyone been lately and how have you gone?

You missed the boat so to speak. That area goes a bit quiet after the February full moon. Still Gummies to be caught if you put in the hours.

Probably better off fishing Westernport for a Gummy.

I would give it a crack..i saw nice gummy today at werribee ramp..unsure what part of bay,i could not leave car as my child was a sleep,so i did not as the bloke..
To many boats kayak, helicopter , catch a fish,catch a fish

The end of last month went out from rye and tried above mud island, caught some small gummy pups while accidentally drifting as well as some sea perch a nice seven-gill,bronzie lost boat side, and some things which I could not stop. On the way back fished south channel for run out and picked up some more perch and another gummy pup. Search up reports from south channel, reports of larger gummies caught not long along in south channel.
Here fishy fishy.......

thanks for the report aussie_fisho, what perch are they that you catch? and what kg leader did you use?
