Help on Fish ID

Post by gonefishing » Mon Nov 28, 2011 7:29 pm

Hi Guys

Not sure if this is the right forum to post but
i have been rather perplexed... I caught a few sharks (see image below - bottom right)
it was night and pitch black ..which explains the crappy image... however im sure some sharp eyed anglers can help me ID the fish... I reckon they were bamboos... but then ..now I think Gummy...
I released them (unharmed)
Image

Thanks!!!

It's not a gummy :-)
Where was it caught?

It looks very similar to a catshark, that I commonly catch at one of the beaches here, but may be a locale specific shark, reason I asked location lol

edit* it does look a lot like a bamboo shark, after looking at some picks.
