I was at the Rhyll ramp over summer and the charter boat 'T-Cat' was transferring 1/2 a dozen or so threshers into the customers ute. When I approached for a look, they went a bit shy and didn't want to talk (although I'm sure it was all legal, it looked like a massacre) The charter guy mumbled something about 'not far offshore' but wouldn't elaborate.
Pretty useless info I know, but if you're really keen you could go out on a charter and see what he does and where he goes (he obviously knows what he's doing)
