how hard is it to get a 20+kg shark in PPB or WP
Hi
Can someone help me with some advice please.
I would like to catch a 20+kg shark in Victoria. I don't mind drive a few hours before launching the boat.so suggest locations.
I mainly fish out of mornington or crib point in Vic (but have done lot of fishing at bermagui). Been out threw the heads of both bays but haven't had any luck on the shark front.
I normall use live squid or slimeys or dead stripy.
Normally have good burley trails going.
But haven't got anything to talk about yet.
Can someone please help me.
Cheers ricki

Look no further than WP for big sharks at the moment.
Gummys/Schoolies/Bronzies...
Possibility of a small Thresher or Mako too without having to go far.

A seven giller should be the easiest but you might want something better regarded like a bronzie.

Have a read through mate, a proper read through relevant articles, there are plenty on this forum simply to start with. I'm looking at late february for sharks, and have read a lot of very helpful info without the need to post up requests. I understand you're eager to learn, not an issue there, but have you exhausted what's already available before asking..?smile0784 wrote:Where is the best place to start trying?
