Stingray for shark bait

Well I have seen on a few american fishing shows of guys using small stingrays for sharks, I am just curious to see if anyone on the blog has used stingray for shark bait or think it may a good bait for sharks.

when I was in the Melbourne aquarium they were doing a talk on sharks and said that sting rays were one of the main things larger sharks ate. so why not give it a go.

I use stingray as my second choice when ballooning for Bronzies off the 90 mile beach. It doesn't seem to matter whether it's slabs cut from a big ray, or small rays used whole. But I've found the best bait by far for sharks would have to be Carp.
