Hi All
I have been looking around for a backpack for land based fishing and want something which has someway of holding two 4 piece rods on the sides, does anyone know of anything out there and where I can get one.

This is the sort of pack I'm looking for but does not have rod storage https://www.bcf.com.au/p/kato-trekking- ... 63508.html

Thanks

Have a look at Hurley’s in Bentleigh or Aussie Angler at Briar Hil, they both have a range of bags & packs in their fly fishing gear.

My dad use to use a old army back pack with the 6 or so different spots to put stuff in

I have the backpack in your original link - got it from BCF for $49 when on special. It is a great backpack and I now use it instead of tackle boxes. It goes on the boat, to the pier etc.

Thank you for the replies. I went to BCF and had a good look at the pack plenty of storage and included slide out tackle trays also had side straps for the rods, so bought it, thanks again

Cheers

For a cheaper version the Aldi Crane backpacks are fairly good. I have 2 and have had the first of the 2 for around 5 years, cheers davo.

Bought the backpack from BCF then bought a Kincrome work belt and 2 hammer holders. They clip on the belt then just cut the bottoms off. Holds 2 rods comfortably.
