Fishing Apps

Post by Mattblack » Mon Jun 25, 2018 2:56 pm

Hi All,
Just wanting opinions on current fishing apps.
Ideally I'm looking for fishing journal app that automatically records data once you save a photo of a caught fish (gps co-ordinates, time, tide, barometer, moon/sun phases, air/water temp etc) ...does this sort of thing exist?

Not sure, but not too keen on paying $60 a year...If Fish Ranger Ranger had an automatic journal option, it might be worth the cash. I have a few apps, but you have to manually enter all the data....I'd love something where you just take a photo and the App automatically gets relevant data based on your GPS position & the time the photo was taken.

Must remember to only take photos of fish!
Are you interested in quoting on designing this app dude? (might do a crowd fund & see if we can make this happen)

Possibly - although I think it's been done before (unsuccessfully)....

There was someone on here a few months ago trying to get peoples feedback on the app he was making...

Why not just record those things yourself? I have a whole log book full haha.

I use Fishbrain a lot to just keep track of my catches, im pretty sure that app records all those things you listed.
