Show us your prawning punt!

Post by Hosery » Mon Jan 15, 2018 8:36 pm

The old wooden punt is dead. She had more sika on it than timber so time for a new vessel. Keen to see if anyone has any good ideas on how they made something up for prawning. My thinking was to use some pvc pipe made into a little raft to hold a box with bucket and battery. Should be nice and light unlike my old banger that was awful heavy!
Anyways show us what you have got.

Its perfect to store everything, large bucket, a coat if it gets cold drinks and snacks..just tows behind while I walk, and the battery if you still use those, I have an LED set up now.

My pa use to use a car inflated tyre tube with a polystyrene box with lid in the center of the tube to put the battery in and prawn in
