Affordable fold up fishing cart.
Affordable fold up fishing cart.
Hi All
Since not having much time to fish lately due to my dads health issues I found some time to make things easier for me when I finally get the chance.
I found this fold up cart on Ebay for $54.99 posted and added a few mods to it and it come up really well. As I'm primarily land based it has solved the problem of carrying all my gear around and it being a fold up it doesn't take up too much room in the car and can handle all my gear for a days fishing.
The Ebay link is posted below, the only upgrade to do next is find some pneumatic wheels and its all finished.

Handy for some, cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Nice... But I reckon you're taking too much stuff if you need a cart!
Re: Affordable fold up fishing cart.
Lol  True but some of the lakes I fish I need to walk a fair way from the car to get to the better spots and we usually fish the whole day so that's the main reason I decided to get it ,most of the time its just a couple of rods and a backpack.mingle wrote:Nice... Re: Affordable fold up fishing cart.
Great idea Marty.
I'm also having some health issues, namely osteo arthritis, which I have in my knees and foot.
Walking for any distance is painful, more so if I'm carrying my gear.
I have an old, unused now, electric golf buggy in my shed. Tou've given me the idea to drag it out and convert it into a tackle carrier. Being battery operated it'll mean that all I'll have to do is switch it on and follow it!
Once I've done the conversion I'll post a photo.
