I found them at anaconda. But only in a small size. Checked the system and nothing. I was at the merrell outlet at dfo yesterday but couldn't find anything. Plenty of hiking boots though. Online is probably the best. I'm after some self draining water shoes so I can combine them with some water pants for ease of launching in winter. Just wade out and no worries about being wet and cold on those days where it doesn't hit double digits.

I've tried on Columbia, ray's outdoors brand, bought some neoprene booties from capacity sports and a few others. None are comfortable enough. The merrel's definitely seem the best.

They look good. These are the ones I'd like to find in store to try on.

are your Merrells light?
My merrels are super light and strong. Ive got goretex hightops, so waterproof to over ankle height if you do the laces up properly. Great for hiking through long grass, fern and crossing small creeks etc.
When I got time,
I wet a line cos Im a junkie,
been fishin since a kid,
I like it cos it numbs me..

i had an old pair of sneakers, just got some aluminium channel, cut jagged teeth into it, then bolted them to the bottom of the sneakers under the heel and ball of foot....with a leather liner inside over the flat headed bolts... worked a treat.
