Very sad outcome. Condolences to his family. Scary to think I left there a few hours before.

Does anyone know what actually happen to him? just drifted out to sea?

There are any number of reasons, this may have happened

Just a harsh reminder to us all of how quickly things can go wrong no matter how experienced we are or arent on the water...remember to be safe next time you go out....condolences to the family

Totally agree, a sound reminder to all of us that as much as we love our sport, it does come with dangers and we need to stay aware of that and pay it safe.
