After a successful fishing trip at the Mornington boat hire caught a couple squid and a 60cm flathead. after that me and my mate decided we wanted to do more fishing so we went for a squid fish and flinders pier. We had the snorkels with us so we went for a swim and saw plenty of crabs, wrasse, whiting and stingrays. On our way out of the water I spotted something moving quite fast.. It was an Octopus! It was massive if only we could get a rod down to it under the pier :( Still an exciting trip flinders is a really great diving spot go check it ou

I did this a couple of times also. But i did it to retrieve lost squid jigs and fishing rigs. Actually found a rod half way along the pier which hadnt been there that long and to this day i still catch whiting on it.
To unfit to snorkel these day though but the free sinkers and jigs were great

The weeds under there must look like christmas trees after the holidays
