Its a shame they always point the finger at the rec fisho's. They really want to do something to save the marine and aquatic environment's, they need to have a good hard look at the agriculture, building and mining industries, and monitoring and filtering of storm water drainage.
What we do on land, makes its way into the water, what gets into the water makes its way to the ocean, if your backyard is a wreck, theres a good chance the front yard will follow suit, just a matter of time. Banning fishing in the proposed lock out zones will take away a number of diligent and watchful eyes that care about the natural environment.
Message, e-mail or call Tony Bourke, he is (and I cant get my head around this one) still the minister for environment and sustainability.
