Intro and question
Hi guys, i'm new to the forum so just wanted to say hello to everyone and ask a quick question, I'm going whiting fishing tommorow and have these mustad ex-long shank hooks 1/0 size, are these suitable for rigging up some bloodworms? I've also got 8lb red mono line and was wondering if i would need to buy some leader, i will be using a running sinker rig, thanks!
7 hooks, no bait, 7 fish.

I have to say I am a huge paternoster fan. Caught my fair share of whiting on them. Also doubles your chances too.ned14 wrote:Ive always thought running sinker rig was the way to go for whiting?GummySlayer wrote:I'd suggest you used a paternoster rig mate.
I pretty much give a paternoster a crack in almost all conditions & targeting anything.
I say, mix it up & see what produces best on the day. Every day is different.
