Bit Strange

Post by denis barden » Sat Jun 17, 2023 12:25 pm

Met a guy at Whyalla the other day and he told me he has caught heaps of Tommy Ruff and Large Salmon with this unit,

Connect the white unit to your line and drag a bare hook behind it about 500mm the unit, you use it like a lure ,it spins and creats bubbles and the fish go for the bare hook,
Strange or what?

Back in the old days, all that was used around here, was a small piece of white rag tied just in front of the hook. Troll it around behind the old putt putt clinker.
There's nothing . . . absolutely nothing . . . half so much worth doing as simply messing around in boats.

Always used to rock the small clear tubing for creating bubbles.

This method imitates the movement and appearance of prey, attracting the fish to the bare hook trailing behind it. The spinning and bubbling action might trigger the fish's predatory instincts, making them strike at the hook.
