Stuff that happens while fishing

Hit a wave so hard that my mate flew overboard. (classic)

I have accelerated a bit hard to chase a school of salmon and my mate landed ass on bate board, from standing at the front of the boat LOL

Not me, but watched some bloke pull his boat out of the water at the boat ramp, and he must have forgotten to put the chain on cos the boat slid straight off the trailer on to the concrete ramp (talk about cringeworthy, after seeing that I ALWAYS double check it haha)

How did he get the boat back on the trailer without damaging the bottom of the boat

Sorry to top your stories guys but I parked my best mates new troopie in the creek at Frankston boat ramp.many bystanders,much shame.Two trucks to pull it out.

I have also dropped a net and watched it very quickly sink out of view.

Also had a rod fly out of a rod holder after hitting a wave.
Had my brother quickly drag his feet out of the water after i wound in a nice size flattie that had been bitten in half.
Had a mate who was fishing off the cabin roof fall overboard when someone in the back of the boat changed sides, he held on to his rod though!
And had a bilge full of fuel after a fuel line leak.

And not really a fishing thing but i have had a fish hit me on the head and land on my surfboard while i was paddling out. :doh1:

Really not sure, I saw it happen just as I was leaving, didn't hang around to see how he got it back on. Good question though I would have no idea what he would do

Here's another update from today, 3am headed out, mate I took got sick - 5 times, and in the rush of things I got stabbed 5 times in the hand by a flathead and then a lovely slice through the palm too. after 30 minutes I couldn't feel my lower arm, just a searing pain. now all I have a blue rings around the puncture wounds :cussing:

Don't even go there, still sore. and just as I had to leave, because my mate was struggling to breathe, sounded some snapper smack on the bottom in 16 meters. dangit.
