St Leonards boat ramp

Post by Daryl » Tue Dec 31, 2019 9:12 am

For those of you that know the St Leonards boat ramp can you tell me why some people refuse to launch there.

I know a bloke that will fish 2km out from the ramp but he launches at Queenscliff. He just says that it is a p**** of a ramp.

Any in-site would would be great

Only issue is its a bit exposed and any onshore wind more than about 10-12 kn makes it a bit crap to launch or retrieve

Always busy. Very blowey and also shallow on a low tide.
