I hope to have a couple of sessions will depend on how much time I have spare Jason. Think in a year or two i'm going to try and fish a whole season on Westernport.

That’s a very nice red then Rb!
If that’s the case like you said, the pic doesn’t do it justice.

Yea I know the feeling mate :)
Every year a good friend of mine and myself we target them lb and usually always catch some late sept, early October! That time is just around the corner!
Good luck this arvo
Same as me and my mate. If we dont go together we give updates. Just gotta keep on the regular haunts and you get on eventually
What side of bay U been fishing , port melb to Sandy or Geelong side.
I'll prob give port melb side a crack ,bit over Geelong.
Around the nth shore area mate. Some stonkers come through there. I dont go to st helens, my dad does during the week.
Theres a couple of sneaky spots in geelong that dont get very busy.
I also remember hearing about those big reds in that north shore area :) but prime time is coming up in my local so will be giving it a crack nearby.
Another crap sesh. Undersize flatties, pinkies, one sand whiting haha. The small flatties drive me insane

Well you did better than me tonight mate.
I’ve just been on the couch having a few coldies watching the footy. My mate who’s out fishing just texted me saying he hasn’t had a bite in the last few hours. Maybe I made the right decision tonight.

Yep, that's it. Make the reports instead of following the reports.

And the good thing when the season is on proper, you're eased and settled and knowledged, while other's are tying rigs on the Pier with anxiously trembling hands.

And as far as Snaps go, bragging rights of catching the first few, which people remember more that Joe Blogs who caught one mid season.

Hope you get the trophy Red soon

Cheers, Bugs
