Plolarised Lens Colour

Post by Expomnowcon » Mon Jun 24, 2019 12:09 pm

What colour is everyone's preference? I need to get some new fishing sunnies and have always gone for brown/tan lenses which have always been great for me but never ventured out into blues/greens etc... I know the greens/blues are meant to be better off shore but never had any issues with my tans.

Ideally fao the people who have more than one colour lens (so aren't biassed like I am with tans!) to see what they use them for/how they find they work in different environments

Cheers
Rob

Brown for freshwater, grey for saltwater fishing... well, that's what I was told many years ago.. :-D :-D
I use the brown (copper) for trout fishing..

The best sunnies I have tried are Revo's with a brown lense. Others I have compared them to is Spotters, Makos, Maui Jim, cancer council.

I don't know if it is the colour of the lense or something else but I can see better into the water with the Revos.

I always thought brown was the best but I have a pair of Blue Bolle sunnies and they **** all over anything else I've used.

I recently got a pair of polarised cancer council ones in brown. Pretty happy with them considering I only paid 22 bucks for them :P
