Jetski fishing looks like it would be great fun. Pretty much incorporating a lot of the things that make kayak fishing interesting with the benefit of some of the features that make boat fishing easier.

As a side note, i picked up a Lowrance Elite TI2 with a 7inch screen a few weeks ago for my boat. Ive only had a chance to take it out once for a bit of a shakedown cruise but the side scan capability blew me away. Driving along the RAAF jetty here in Port Phillip Bay i was able to see old pier pylons laying on the bottom and also picked up a few small reefs that i had no idea were there from my old sounder.

I can only imagine what sounders will be capable of in 5 years time.

Steveo - yeah I agree the sidescan is a really cool feature, it's amazing the clarity of images you can get under the water of stuff you just never knew was down there in the past
