For Cod. Cooked sausage, dim sims, chicken fillet, cheese, chicken chippies or nuggets, heard of a guy catching nice cod on dumplings. I have made a home made dough with cheese, creamed corn and garlic power in it - wanting to catch carp and caught a cod.
I think cod are not fussy, my cod in my fish tank will eat anything from cheese to corn to pork anything really.

Not suggesting anyone does but tis a no no to use imported prawns as bait.
Are prawns from the supermarket labelled with the country of origin? Can you always get local prawns?

Hi mate, heard a lot about the gov not wanting imported food prawns used as bait.
Quite a bit about it on the net. Biggest concern is for the Qld fisheries with white spot disease but other states dont like it either. All about biosecurity and keeping our fish stock safe and disease free.
