Fishing dreams?
Anyone ever get them, perhaps before a big, exciting fishing trip?
Had one last night, was surf fishing on the beach and my cousin reeled in a nice bronzie. I was still rigging up and was trying to tie a typical surf paternosta but with wire.. it wasn't working, as you could imagine, so it was just one of them continuous struggle dreams where I just kept on failing and failing
Now I wanna be a normal bloke and go back to dreaming about boobies and cruisers

Re: Fishing dreams?
Haha, yeah definitely had it.
I was anticipating a good murray cod fishing trip with few days of preparation. The night before the trip, I had a dream of fighting a cod caught on surface.
The trip was a donut.
Lol

Yeah a few about catching a big trout that when I land it, it looks like one of those salmon that die after they breed. Virtually falling apart as I get it in the net.

Re: Fishing dreams?
Used to have a recurring dream of getting run into a snag by something unstoppable while fishing freshwater with rather heavy gear.
Used to always wake up with a feeling of despair

There is always more to learn , fish to catch , places to see and friends to make.

Yep, I always end up wet, cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them
