Christmas Lights Patterson Lakes
Well tonight finally launched at Patto and saw the Christmas Lights and there were some very impressive houses with their lights, fortunately there weren't too many boats and having no moon, made it a bit dark as many of the pylons are not lit, which made for some interesting moments.
But as a whole it was a great night to explore that system and see the effort that many people went too.
Thoroughly recommend it.

Nah, the only down side, I had just reversed the trailer into the water and this jerk travelling above the speed limit, left a wake of at least a foot and half which meant the car got wet and my boat was slammed against the pylons. The only fortunate thing was I wasn't in the process of driving the boat onto the trailer or my car would have had the bow of my boat hanging out of the back of it.blakesirus wrote:did u bring a rod?
It was a white boat at least 30' long with a very distinctive bow.

Hey Wolly I was also there last night doing the Xmas lights with wife and 2 kids. Figured it would be nice and quiet. It really is worth seeing if you get a chance and Christmas night is the night to do it. Was apparently chaos earlier in the week

If that was a big red bow, I think you just got buzzed by Santa on the way back to the North Pole

There is always one whos gotta come through there too fast, cops nabbed a bloke the other week, and some the jet ski riders have been moving fast through there, was waiting for one to get knocked off by a boat cruising down.Wolly Bugger wrote:Nah, the only down side, I had just reversed the trailer into the water and this jerk travelling above the speed limit, left a wake of at least a foot and half which meant the car got wet and my boat was slammed against the pylons.
