its not freshwater or saltwater as per, More so Inland and Marine waters.
You got to know which is which, if in doubt stick to the lesser of the amount of rods which is 2 per person..

I got fined years ago under the Westgate fishing for Jewies. I had two rods out while fishing for live bait with another. It is classed as an estuary, so only two rods allowed. Fair enough too, my bad, I should have known better.

Anyone know why there's a difference between inland and offshore?
Are these laws somewhat recent? I've seen videos of Lee Rayner whiting fishing with like 10+ rods in the water.
