:a_goodjob: I was there yesterday. Kept the expenditure under 6 figures this time which is nice
Dont you already have 3 of everything lol
Only got 1 boat.....there is a spare bay in the shed..... ;)
Get a 445 Scott. You know you want to.
Too small. The extreme 545 however.....
Aren't you a shelf fisherman? You'd be confident getting there in a 545?

I understand size is only a minor factor when boating offshore but generally you dont see many boats under 6m heading out 100km offshore

Edit: nvm the 545 is the centre console... obviously not for that type of fishing

What a waste of time.
Heard all about the cash back offer from Lowrance/hummingbird.
Heard all about the finer points of the fish combo's.
And "as the distributors are giving a rebate for the show only, its a deal by itself"
"No Sale"
Lowrance rebate goes to the end of July Australia wide.
So I'll keep looking.
If I had of got it on Ebay before the Show, I would have received a neg price with what I wanted, plus rebate from Ebay $200+ Lowrance$400.
Never again bother about boat show!

Yeah inshore stuff for the 545, or offshore on the nice days. Still just a pipe dream at the moment but maybe an option by next years boat show. The old man will be retired then and will probably want something that he can launch by himself midweek.
