Re: Landbased Game Fishing Victoria
Unfortunate LBG and Victoria are two things that don't really go together...
There's the very remote chance of catching a kingie from the rocks and infinitely more remote chance of landing a tuna.
To be brutally honest, fishing in Victoria sucks compared to most other states - particularly QLD, Northern NSW and mid-Northern WA.
The variety and size just isn't here - that's just a fact.
Gummies and 7-gillers don't count either!
Oh to be able to live in FNQ...
Mike.

Hooked a few eagle rays off the Mordi pier over the years, don't know if they classify as game fish but they sure give you a good workout.
Cheers

Wait for a offshore breeze and use a balloon to get a nice strip of mackeral out 200 metres and hope for the best. Plenty of spots on the Great ocean road to try.
