Mantis shrimp is a great alternative for gummies when fishing muddy bank areas :thumbsup:
I think that mostly applies to foreign frozen prawns

Most of the fresh prawns from supermarkets and mongers are caught locally.

Might be wrong though.
No that one was a wholly Australian problem that destroyed many tonnes of stock in Queensland. Granted the disease originated internationally before it eventually went ballistic up north
