Thanks for the word there baitworms, appreciated....
Her who must be obeyed, has walked in tonight and agreed that she would be Ok driving a " slightly bigger" new AWD model............
So, with that in mind I'm looking at another Demo Xtrail tomorrow morning, done 5000k, ex head office vehicle and its a 2018, which is good for warrantee, And would look at trade in, So I might just pull the trigger on this one if it's as described, and put an end to all this.
If they make a silly trade in offer like the last mob, I'll just try and screw them on price on the new car and I'll just advertise the damn thing myself, Someone will get a damn good run about if I can do a quick sale between 2-3 k.
THEN, I can concentrate on more important issues, like getting my boat back and starting the fit out !
Just been an annoying wee speed hump.

VooDoo, its even her colour mate !
What do you mean if there's traffic at the ramp ?
With that beast I'd just go over the top of them ! no more snapper time launching issues...........LOL

Lol
You can go on top of them but your glass boat will kiss the concrete hard behind you - beach launch it has to be!!

so it is settled - Xdemo model of the above will be the go then :)

Just remember "End of financial year" they want to move units.
So grab them by the what knots and gently squeeze till they sing like a girl.
And Berwick has a web site if you want to have a look.

Well, pulled the pin today, some great deals going around the traps with the eofys.
Picked up a 2018 plated "used" couldn't be called a demo, because it came out of head office Nissan,
For 26k. that's the cheapest I've found around the traps, new 2018 are in the yard 33990, but I'm sure they will take some off as end of June comes up.
Pretty happy with that,, Pick up Saturday morning, where they will look at our old Xtrail and offer up a price, If its a low ball, I'll just keep it, get it manicured and sell it cheap, it's gotta be worth a couple of thou to someone surely.
Anyway, I'm sure my pending 4 stroke purchase will be filled with just as much Bulls@it and pushy salesmen, but I recon it will be more fun than shopping for a new car for her indoors ! And if I here that catch phrase " Common, work with me, lets do a deal, work with me " once more !!!!!!!
LOL

Haha, Yep, Voodoo's suggestion ! He comes up with some good ones :-D
I'm glad its done with now, mind, I may still have to sell the old one yet.

So Tex,
Have you finished your demolition job yet ??
Sounded like a bit of hard work, but I don't mind that if there's some " destruction" involved sometimes......
