Now that’s commitment!Millzee wrote:I didn't see any fisheries at Altona, didn't see many fish either, lol. We got on the water at 7.30am and searched for salmon, fished for squid and bait fished for snaps and flatties till about 6pm. Squid were easy enough to find and catch but no sign of salmon all day. We hit up T2, P2 and P3 areas with only crappy banjo, not much on the sounder either. A very long day, up at 4.30am and got home about 1/4 past nine, we had a lovely day on the water but the fishing was a bit tough.

How was the weed this time?ducky wrote:Yeah fisheries checked me at flinders.
Beach launched 11:30 and off the water 4pm. Pretty slow day but worked different grounds hard and ended up with 14 squid and a decent cuttle. Weren’t as big as the spread of 40-46cm hoods from last week. But still plenty big enough.
Every day’s a different day when Fishing mateYota wrote:I'm planning on launching from Altona early tomorrow morning. From millzees report, it doesn't sound promising. But I'm keen to get out and have a go.
