Taking my boys out off Altona tomorrow to have some fun chasing a bit of everything. I'd love to get them onto some salmon, I've rigged up 3-6kg outfits for them so we should have a ball if we find them.

Re: whos fishing this queens birthday long leekend?
I just had a quick flounder session. Never done it in the cooler months before.
Water was cold (no **** i hear u say) only saw toadies and porcupine fish. 1 mullet that was no wear near striking distance.
No banjoes or rays from a spot that i seen heaps usually. Mind you ive never been after easter time so the cold weather might be the reason.
Worken down at rye for the long weekend and was looken forward to it. Perfect night for it too

I have done a hell of a lot of floundering myself but never in the cooler months either. Have always wondered though whether or not they would be around. Maybe it’s just for the warmer months then.
