Most times I go out I see shopping trolleys in the Mordi Creek between the road & rail bridges, will have to have a go fishing there sometime, might be heaps of bream there.

It's not just out in the bay - plenty of freshwater locations get "terra-formed" by fishos.
I might know of a few spots along the Yarra where "work" has been done.
In most cases i may have heard about, it does often have a positive result.
That said - I would not want to see the whole river "terra-formed" by ametuers as such.......
