It is quite funny Smile, I use a random selecting wheel and the Kingfish was the one next to my chosen next on the list!

The next one I will be chasing is Ling now.
Good luck with the ling mate. It’s a fish I have never really targeted but caught as a by catch.
Same man, they’re a funny fish, i’ve only caught 2, not big though. I’ve heard they’re tasty.
Yea they are mate!
Wish I caught them more often.

The ever elusive Cameron Ling hey. Many have tried, few succeed
 That's what I call them too

I got onto a bunch in the mosquito channel one day. Best table fish in the ocean imo

If my cousin hasn't of told me what they were I'd have just thrown it back as a rock cod eel looking hybrid
Yeah they look weird. A mate of mine reckons they’re great, just dont come a ccross them often

Guys, any suggestions for a strong, easy and quick knot to use for my fishing hook and swivel?

I do not want to use the patternoster rig as it breaks in the center quite quickly.

Still chasing Ling, had 10 trips down at Sandridge but no luck

Thank you for the help

I use uni knots for a lot of my fishing Elly.
Check it out mate. Great knot and easy to do.
Cheers

Yea the fg knot is an awesome one too but I found it took a bit more practice and took me longer to do. The uni knot shouldn’t take you long at all to get used to and is a great knot mate :)

Fg is for tying braid to leader and is the thinnest n strongest knot for this application imo anyway.

It’s a p**** to learn.. but

Nothing worthwhile comes easy
