A great rod, you'd pick it up somewhere in Melbourne like BCF. I've caught cod on it.

Swimbait rods for cod are largely intended for lake fishing; not well suited for chasing cod in rivers. Davek tried mine out this weekend and didn't like it. So unless you are going to throw out really heavy lures in lakes I'd stick to a shorter baitcasting rod that will be more flexible in a variety of fishing situations.

Best Wishes

What I didn't like about it was that the butt was too long for me to use in front of me, I would be leaning forward over the rod, not good with back issues and I would not have full control of the rod using it with the butt under my arm, cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Try this rod from Samaki, a couple of mates use them and rate them.
