northern reef charter

planning a fishing charter next year for up north with my father, some cousins and uncles and a few mates. will be doing a reef charter probably from somewhere like Darwin, Cairns, Townsville or the like, for around 5-7 days. anyone done something similar and have recommendations ?

Gts Hoon is pretty well versed on charters up there.

Yep the flogmaster will give you some pointers.
He landed a Spanish mackeral bigger than himself on one if those charter trips few years ago

I’m heading to Port Douglas in about a month. And plan on going on a charter. If it’s a decent charter I’ll let you no.

Thanks mate! I have a few really close mates in port so hopefully it is! Will give me a genuine excuse to go see them haha

the nomad charters looks really good on paper. 80 foot mother ship that looks like it has amazing facilities, 26 foot centre consoles with twin 200's and 19 foot tinnies with 115 Suzuki.

goes from cairns upwards, between 4-7 nights depending on which package. anyone done this before?
